Commercial Filming on the Beltline
Commercial Productions
Permission is required to film on the Atlanta Beltline. Media covering stories do not incur fees, whereas production companies are subject to associated costs. Use these guidelines for your request:
Apply at least 10 business days in advance; rush fee for less than 10 days.
The application process begins upon receipt of both the completed form and any applicable fees.
Include an aerial photo of the desired location.
Public trail closures are limited; they're easier between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
Required documents for production companies: Georgia business registration, Atlanta/Fulton County business license, insurance, and proposed content.
Production parking and coordination with APD and neighborhoods are available.
Permit Requirements
You must apply for a permit if:
2+ cameras, stationary lighting, or boom mics are used
Filming for commercial purposes
Eligibility
Submit a complete application 10 days prior to filming.
Provide necessary documents and insurance.
Pay fees on time.
Notify community and NPU.
Clean and restore the site.
Film content must comply with guidelines.
Atlanta Beltline, Inc. reserves the right to reject applications for various reasons, including failure to meet requirements or fraudulent information.

Please allow 10 business days for processing, with a rush fee for requests within 5-9 days.
